Because I'm Crazy!

A few weeks ago, I was going through the list of MP3 CDs that are $5 on Amazon.
There's a lot of CDs on that list that I wouldn't want to buy or have never heard of. I don't really know why I did, but I randomly requested one of those CDs to get from my library through interlibrary loan. It was a CD that I'd never heard of before and to this day I have absolutely no idea why I requested it.
What CD was it? It was this CD.
Is the CD any good? The answer is: YES! IT'S VERY GOOD! Listening to this CD makes me happy that I do random things. I'm probably going to put this CD on my wish list.
Yay! :)
Also, it should be noted that a few Coldplay albums are $5.
=)

My Second Salad

I have been asked why this post is titled Salad. Do you want to know the answer?
Ok, here it is:

Wait for it...

Wait for it...

Wait for it!

I don't know why I called that post Salad. I honestly have no clue. Obviously it's just something random that came to my mind. It's not a secret code or anything. It has no philosophical meaning. Seriously, I'm not that deep.

Guess what!
I actually have some stuff to blog about today! :D
Most days I just open up Blogger and stare blankly at the screen, then I zone out for twenty minutes, then I think of something totally random to blog about. So out of the thirty minutes that I usually spend writing a post, only about five of those minutes is spent writing.
Oh, and I should probably mention that I don't spend that exact amount of time on posts, because I don't. If I don't say this, the next thing I'll know, Emily will be hanging over me with a timer. That's not a joke.
So yeah, when you read the above numbers you should automatically give or take a few minutes... probably give....

I don't know if anyone can tell, but I'm actually putting more effort into my post just like I said I would in this post.
I haven't quite worked my way up to 10% effort yet, though. Right now I'm at about 6%.
I am getting there, though! :)

Yesterday was such a jam-packed day that today I really feel like a slacker.
I got up yesterday at 7:30. By 8:00 PM last night, I had done two days worth of homework, cleaned a little bit, and watched nine episodes of Chuck. O.o

I've got another synchro competition this weeked. Yay!

Salad

My mom officially likes my blog. I was like, "Yay, because I put like no effort into it." and then she said, "Well maybe you should put effort into it and then you'd get more readers."
So I'm going to attempt to put more effort into this blog. Right now I put 0.5% into this blog. I'm going to go for 10% effort, which about what I put into my papers.

Just kidding, Mom.
No seriously! I do put some effort into my papers!

:-P

HAPPY BIRTHDAY STEPHANIE!
:D

My mother is finally reading this blog. It took her long enough. She's going through and reading every single post.

Hi Mom!

Omg!A Butterfly!

You know what I really don't like? Taking out the trash and checking the mail in the winter. It's soooo cold! Plus, my driveway is kinda longish so it's not fun in the winter. I do like it in the Summer. Because then it's all warm and you can hear the birds and little animals in the forest. It's really pleasant in the summer.

As always, I have tons of writing to do. I've got a few papers for school and I volunteered to write a chapter for Trapped. (teheheh like how I discretely added a little plug for that story in there?)

I like fruit. It's yummy.

THAILAND

I'm eating homemade Pad Thai right now. It is delicious. YOU SHOULD BE JEALOUS!! Unless, of course, you're at my house eating some of my mother's delicious cooking.
O.o
That's kinda creepy if you are....

I skated earlier (Shocker ;]). It was the first non-synchro practice I've had since a week before Christmas.
GUESS WHAT!
I didn't epically fail at practice. Everything actually went pretty well. I'm trying to convince my older sister Christina to take me tomorrow. She's a good coach and it's always helpful having her at my practices. It's a perspective other than that  of my coaches.

Today was also my first day of school (because I had a two week break for Christmas....). It was pretty productive. I read 20 pages of The Iliad, 20 pages of The History of The Peloponnesian War, a lesson of math, some theology, and now I'm writing this blog post.
Twenty pages each of The Iliad and The History of The Peloponnesian War might not sound like a lot, but it is. The print is small and it gets kind of monotonous after about ten pages. Don't get me wrong, those books are incredibly fascinating. It's just a lot to read and the writing style was definitely different back then. Sometimes you just can't help but think, "Ok, Thucydides, I get it. You don't need to use twenty pages to explain that Joe Smith wanted to start a war with Joe Schmo!"
:-P
Anyways, the point is, I made progress and I'm not bored to death with the easiness of my homework.
